A while ago I sold my handheld systems, the DS and PSP, and I got rid of my Wii. I love playing video games, but the whole idea is antithetical to what I really want to do. I still play 360 games, and I'm going through Bioshock right now. Awesome game, by the way. But, I really wanted to focus on reading again. Handheld games distracted from that way too much.

I've been reading through the Dark Tower series. Which is an amazing series of books. I really want to thank marvel and Peter David for doing the comics that introduced me to the world and the characters, I might not have ever picked up the books if it weren't for the graphic novel. If you haven't read this series yet, you really should. I can't recommend it enough.

Also, I have more time t focus on writing again. I finally posted something new. I've been writing stories for too long that are part of a bigger epic that I don't want to share until the main story is finished. I plan on writing a lot more short stories again and making sure they are either stand alone or can be read and enjoyed by anyone. I also really want to get better at writing and perfect my craft, so honest but polite criticism is more than welcome. Please tell me what I can do to improve, tell me what didn't work in a story, what you think could use work, and of course what you liked and think actually did work.

Also, Les has a ton of stuff to put up, we just need to stop being lazy and scan it in. I'm sure she'll want to color quite a few things, but we'll post the originals first for some of them. Hopefully they'll be up here soon with some more of my stories too.
